Director’s Statement: 

The film delves into the narrative of an elderly man living in solitude, who serendipitously comes across an inflatable doll. Amidst his perennial solitary existence, he harbors a distinct sexual longing. Contemplating the utilization of the inflatable doll to satiate his sexual desires. But he could not cross the shackles of traditional moral concepts, when he convinced himself, the sudden appearance of his daughter killed all his dreams, and the old man could not speak up and take responsibility for all this. Finally, the old man's sexual repression for many years still can’t be released, he is in great pain, for the old man's sexual needs, he can only choose the usual solution to be released and satisfied, he and his soul dialogue, or suppress, or bloom.

The idea is to understand the sexual needs of older people, it is a natural human desire, it is so wonderful.




Film Synopsis:

As usual, Old Wan was fishing by the lake, yet this day, like many before. On the way, he stopped by the roadside to relieve himself, and there he stumbled upon an abandoned inflatable doll hidden in the bushes. He picked up home, out of curiosity and the impulse of sexual needs, he intends to do something with the inflatable doll, tangled for a night, or can’t pass his own inner that. Daughter suddenly came back from abroad found the inflatable doll, go out and come back to see the inflatable doll disappeared, daughter as if nothing had happened and old Wan left after dinner, late at night old Wan looked at the hands of the doll to buy a dress, the heart of the fire was poured out feel pain. He went back to fishing at the lake and fell in love with the doll.

  Director's Profile:  Guo Jin, born in 1962, learned music since childhood. He served as the director of operations of the China National Traditional Orchestra and the Working Committee of Typecast Actors of the China Film Association.
