Question 1:

1. Liu Chen, you are a famous actress on screen and stage, a singer, a film producer, a business person and an entrepreneur. Is it difficult to find enough time to do all of these things and still enjoy a happy life? Do you think there are too many pressures and too much competition in both the media and business generally nowadays?

I think any industry will be connected when it comes to heights. So to a certain extent, a producer is a project operator and a businessman- be the first to enter the project and the last to leave.

Acting and singing are my talents, as a child growing up, it also a kind of self-groomed. Coordinating myself in these roles is still very challenging but so far, I enjoy the sense of accomplishment. In addition, there is really no distinction between media and business. if the art of media is not integrated with business, it is not a successful media conduct in my view.

Question 2:

You have appeared on stage and on screen many times. For example; your starring role in Romeo and Juliet, your collaborations with Jay Chou, and there are so many screen appearances that they are impossible to mention (a short selection would be "The Legend of Wu Mei Niang", "Emergency Department Doctor" directed by Zheng Xiaolong, "To Youth" and Finding Faith in Love). Whats the main differences between performing on screen and performing on stage?

I think the core driving force of all performances is the same, and the source of emotional experience is also the same. Only in the choice of performance methods will there be some differences in sense of proportion and tension. To put this in detail, it will be reflected in the lines, body shape, performance dimensions, and sound-shaping tension.

Question 3:

Youve often operated as a cultural ambassador and spokesperson for many organizations and brands. What kinds of skills and personality allows someone to do this successfully?

I think the core driving force of all performances is the same, and the source of emotional experience is also the same. Only in the choice of performance methods will there be some differences in the sense of proportion and tension. To put this in detail, it will be reflected in the lines, body shape, performance dimensions, and tension in the voice.

Question 4:

As a successful businesswoman, is it harder for women to be successful in business than men and, if so, would you like to see something done to help younger female entrepreneurs to succeed?

This question is very good! I have always thought differently from the public on this point. Many people think that it will be 10,000 times easier for women to start a business than men. Finally, I found that in terms of access to resources, this is indeed an advantage that women are more likely to gain more than men in the workplace. However, in the process of project implementation, women generally have a longer negotiation period than men in the negotiation of interests. I believe that there must be male partners in the team to help women make up for their business shortcomings. Learning from each others strengths is the best team match.

Question 5:

Youre always keeping busy, so what future projects are you working on and what can we expect to see you doing in the future?

At present, we are operating our new consumer own brand "Twelve Hours of Kyoto". The content marketing section extended by this brand will release a Republic of China spy war short film "Great Kyoto" and an original immersive musical "Drunken Night at Chicago", which will be staged soon. At the same time, I am seeking to go to a higher institution to recharge and improve myself.
